Allison Chinchar works as a weather forecaster for CNN as well as HLN. The station airs her regularly on CNN's "New Day Weekend as well as HLN's Weekend Express', as as CNN International programming. Before joining CNN in June 2015, she worked as meteorologist for the local station in Atlanta, Nashville, and Chattanooga, Tennessee. The station covered blizzards and hurricanes as well as flooding, wildfires and was awarded an Emmy for the coverage she provided of Dorian, a hurricane that struck the Bahamas.
