Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles in the way he's known in the world of pop music is an British singing and composing. Harry Styles belongs to the group One Direction. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on the 1st of February 1994. He's the child of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, in which he started his own musical band with three classmates, which he called White Eskimo. The band's outstanding performances enabled them to beat in the Battle of Bands 2009. Although he has always shown interest in music he also wanted to be the next lawyer or physiotherapist. In order to provide for the family he worked an hour or so working at a baker's shop. Harry Styles, in 2010, auditioned to be on The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. Because of this, the group he was in had to be disbanded. The audition was held on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles be part of the band to be called One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. During the competition the band performed songs like My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates to be the winner. However, they finished third behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell didn't get the win in the contest. However, Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million dollar contract with Syco.
