Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is an extremely popular American after winning American Idol's inaugural season. Not only was she pushed into stardom by her win, but she also signed a record deal for multiple albums through RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records. In the years since her debut, she released numerous albums. From those, three reached number one on the US Billboard 200. The other albums came close to the top spot. Her name is among the top artists who come out of her participation in the American Idol series. To achieve her success she played around with various music styles and experimented on subjects. Due to her distinctness and ability as a performer her work was recognized by critics and won a few prestigious award. She has also been awarded the Grammy Award a record three times. Additionally, she has been involved in charitable work and numerous other organisations.
